The ski resort Ski Amadé - Salzburger Sportwelt lies between Dachstein and Tauern at an altitude of 650 - 2300 meters. The name of this ski resort itself indicates the abundance of sporting activities offered here, including all types of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, rafting, etc. Particularly interesting are the kilometers of well-kept cross-country ski trails and the 1,5 km long lighted trail for night skiing. The great conditions of the ski resort are confirmed by its many years of organization of the Women's World Ski Championships and its candidature for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
